If the visualization is changed after translation, the new texts are appended to the CSV so that only the new texts need to be translated.
To define the languages, call the dialog under Project settings - Languages:
With the button "+" a new language is added. An entry must be added for each language. For example, if the visualization was created in German, the language German must also be added, the CSV does not have to be translated then, of course.
With the Export tool button the texts are exported to a CSV file, the translation can be imported again with the Import tool button. The CSV has the following format:
The first line is the column header and does not need to be translated. The first column contains the text used in the visualization, the second column contains the translation. File format UTF8, line end LF.
The translation in English from the above example could then look like this:
The Import tool button is used to import the translation. To do this, click on the language to be imported in the dialog and then on the Import tool button and select the corresponding file. If the visualization is changed and new texts are added, these are always appended to the CSV, only these must then be retranslated.
In the CSV file, only those texts are output which were specified in the visualization. System texts are not included here. System texts are currently only available in German and English, these are always the languages that can be selected in the Studio under Extras - Language.
However, it is also possible to enter these manually in the CSV. For example, the System settings control element contains the following texts:
In the CSV these can now be added manually:
In the above example, the three texts from the dialog were added to the end of the file and translated. After importing the CSV and switching the language to English, the texts in the dialog are also translated:
