Average per time| This function block calculates the average per time. The calculation is similar to that of an integral controller; the deviation is integrated with the time parameter until the input value is reached (an exponentially weighted moving average). This corresponds to the recursive formula of a first-order filter with time constant (at Te=1 step time), i.e., an exponentially weighted moving average—new values are included with a small proportion, while old values “ring out” exponentially. |
