Overview ABI alarm system



This function block connects an ABI alarm system via the RS232 interface. In principle it is possible to disarm the alarm system via the app, but for security reasons this should only be used on the local network.

Important: If the alarm system is operated via the app, special protective measures should be taken. For example, setting up a private VPN access. Under no circumstances should the system be freely accessible from the Internet via port forwarding.

  • Manual: Manual entry of the interface. Depending on the controller type, the interface can be specified here in the form "/dev/tty". USB converter e.g. "/dev/ttyUSB-1".
