Overview Safety notes on using counters

Please observe the following safety notes when important data is stored on the controller.

  • All counter data is stored in the area of the persistent values; this data is irrecoverably lost when the controller is reset to factory settings.
  • In principle, data storage can always become defective, therefore a data backup should be set up for all important data and this backup should also be checked regularly.
  • When recording sensor data, the data should be checked regularly for plausibility in order to detect defective sensors early, for example.
  • Software errors can never be entirely ruled out in complex devices, therefore we cannot assume any warranty for the correctness and completeness of the data.
  • All software counters are not calibrated and may therefore not be used for billing purposes.
