Overview LAN Master

This function block connects IO modules of the type LAN Master. The IO modules communicate with the controller via UDP telegrams.

The main group is set on the IO module. With "Create variables" the variables are created automatically. The corresponding variables are created using the parameters "Main group" and "Number of IO modules". The IO module itself sends the addresses as set (main group 1-x); the value of the parameter Main group is added when telegrams are received and subtracted when sending, so the address range can be freely chosen.

The following addresses are predefined here:
  • Middle group 0: Analog inputs, data type EIS5, address 1-8
  • Middle group 1: Digital outputs, data type EIS14, address 1-16, output 1 = address 0, feedback output 1 = address  1,  output 2 = address 2, feedback output 2 = address  3, etc.
  • Middle group 2: Digital inputs, data type EIS1

Parameters
Broadcast address
 Broadcast address, e.g. 192.168.1.255.
First IO module This value is only used for creating the variables. The first main group then has the value of the parameters "First IO module" + "Main group". If, for example, there are 2 IO modules in the network with the addresses 10 and 11, you can set this parameter to 10 and Number of IO modules to 2, then the variables 10 and 11 plus parameter Main group are created.
Main group This value is added when telegrams are received and subtracted when sending, so the address range can be freely chosen.
Number of IO modules Number of IO modules specifies the count when creating variables; depending on the count, a corresponding number of variables is created.
