Overview Interpolation

This function block performs an interpolation between several points. For this, at least two points on the X and Y axis are specified between which interpolation takes place. The actual value input is plotted on the X axis, and the corresponding value of the Y axis is output at the output.

Inputs

FG
Enable
Enable. At 1 the calculated value is output at the output, otherwise 0. If the input is not connected, the calculation is always enabled.
IW
Actual value*
Actual value
X1
X-axis 1
Point 1 on the X axis (horizontal)
Y1
Y-axis 1 Point 1 on the Y axis (vertical)

Outputs

A1
Setpoint
Calculated value
ST
Step
Step from which the slope was calculated; this output can be used, for example, for a step switch.

Parameters

Number of inputs
Number of X/Y pairs
Limitation
Limitation. With this option the value is limited downward and upward to the maximum XY values, that is, the calculated value cannot become smaller or larger than the maximum XY values. Without limitation the value continues to be calculated linearly downward and upward.
