Overview ECOWITT WS90 weather station (GW200x)

The function block integrates an ECOWITT weather station via a gateway of the GW200x series. For this the MQTT forwarding to the broker of the controller is set up in the settings of the gateway. Usually the WS90 combined sensor is connected, which measures temperature, humidity, air pressure, wind, rain and brightness. In addition to the values supplied by the device the block calculates the felt outdoor temperature.

All values are already converted into the usual units: temperatures in °C, air pressure in hPa, wind in km/h and rain in millimetres.

TF Felt outdoor temperature [°] Felt temperature calculated from temperature, wind and humidity.
FT Outdoor humidity [%] Relative humidity outdoors.
IT Indoor temperature [°] Temperature at the gateway.
IL Indoor humidity [%] Relative humidity at the gateway.
RL Relative air pressure [hPa] Air pressure converted to sea level. This value is comparable with the weather map.
AL Absolute air pressure [hPa] Air pressure measured at the location.
WR Wind direction [°] Present wind direction in degrees.
WR Wind direction 10 min [°] Average wind direction of the last ten minutes.
WI Wind [kmh] Wind speed in kilometres per hour.
WB Gust [kmh] Present gust peak.
BT Gust of the day [kmh] Highest gust of the day.
DD Vapour pressure deficit [kPa] Measure for evaporation, important for the plant climate in a greenhouse.
SE Solar radiation [W/m2] Solar radiation measured by the device.
HK Brightness [kLux] Brightness in kilolux, for shading control.
HL Twilight [lux] Brightness in lux for twilight switching.
UV UV index Measured UV index.
RE Rain Binary rain signal. It reacts faster than the amount counters and is suitable for closing windows or retracting the awning.
RR Present rain rate [mm/lt] Present rain rate of the piezo sensor.
RE Rain amount event [mm/lt] Rain amount of the current event.
RS Rain amount hour [mm/lt] Rain amount of the current hour.
RT Rain amount day [mm/lt] Rain amount of the current day.
RW Rain amount week [mm/lt] Rain amount of the current week.
RM Rain amount month [mm/lt] Rain amount of the current month.
RJ Rain amount year [mm/lt] Rain amount of the current year.
RA Present rain amount [mm/lt] Present value of the rain sensor.
WK WS90 capacitor [V] Voltage of the supercapacitor which charges the sensor during the day via the solar cell.
BP Battery [%] State of charge in percent calculated from the battery voltage.
BV Battery [V] Battery voltage of the outdoor sensor.
BW Battery warning < 10% Is set as soon as the state of charge falls below 10 %.

Parameters


MQTT topic Topic of the device, exactly as in the MQTT settings of the device. Example: ecowitt/AABBCCDDEEFF

Timeout Time in seconds after which the timeout address is set if no message is received. The default is 600 seconds.
In addition to the outputs listed, the command generate addresses creates an address named timeout. It is set to 1 when the device has not sent a message for a longer period of time.
