Overview Shelly Button 1

The Shelly Button 1 is a battery-powered wireless push-button. The device distinguishes between single, double and triple press as well as long press. Each of these events is mapped to its own output.

Outputs

BT Battery State of charge of the battery in percent.
K1 Short time 1 Reacts to a single short press.
K2 Short time 2 Reacts to a double press.
K3 Short time 3 Reacts to a triple press.
L1 Long time 1 Reacts to a long press.

Parameters


MQTT topic Topic of the device. Devices of the first generation automatically prepend shellies/, this part has to be entered here as well. Example: shellies/shellybutton1-AABBCCDDEEFF

Type short Behaviour of the outputs short time 1 to 3. Toggle flips the output on every press. Pulse sets the output to 1 and resets it after the configured pulse time.

Type long Behaviour of the output long time 1, with the same options as for type short.

Pulse time Duration of the pulse in seconds. Only used with the setting pulse. The default is 4 seconds.
In addition to the outputs listed, the command generate addresses creates an address named timeout. It is set to 1 when the device has not sent a message for a longer period of time.
