Overview Shelly BLU TRV thermostat

The Shelly BLU TRV is a radiator thermostat with Bluetooth. It requires the Shelly BLU gateway and has to be paired with it. Unlike the other BLU devices no script is required: the gateway reports the thermostat via MQTT on its own and also accepts commands. Therefore the topic of the gateway is entered here and the thermostat is selected by its Bluetooth ID.

Inputs

SV Valve setpoint % Setpoint for the valve position from 0 to 100 %. Only effective with the setting valve control.
ST Temperature setpoint Setpoint for the room temperature in °C. Only effective with the setting temperature control.

Outputs

SV Valve setpoint % status Feedback of the present valve position in percent.
ST Temperature setpoint status Feedback of the setpoint set in the thermostat.
RT Room temperature Room temperature measured by the thermostat in °C.
BA Battery State of charge of the battery in percent.
BA Battery alarm Is set to 1 when the battery level is low.

Parameters

MQTT topic gateway Topic of the Shelly BLU gateway, not of the thermostat. MQTT has to be enabled at the gateway; the topic is shown in the MQTT settings. Example: shellyblugwg3-AABBCCDDEEFF

Type
  • Valve control: The setpoint for the valve is set. For this option the automatic control has to be disabled at the thermostat.
  • Temperature control: The temperature setpoint is set and the thermostat controls the valve itself. For this option the automatic control has to be enabled at the thermostat.
  • Display only: Neither valve nor setpoint are controlled, the values are only read.

Bluetooth ID Identifier of the thermostat at the gateway. It starts with 200 for the first paired device and is shown on the start page of the gateway web interface for every paired device.
In addition to the outputs listed, the command generate addresses creates an address named timeout. It is set to 1 when the device has not sent a message for a longer period of time.
