Overview Doorbird Door Station



This control element displays and operates a Doorbird video door station: live camera image, door opener and light buttons, and an automatic popup when the doorbell rings.

The control element is linked to the Doorbird Door Station function block. First create the function block and generate its addresses, then right-click the control element and select the function block.

Clicking the control element opens the full-screen view with the buttons Door opener, Light and Close. When the doorbell rings, the full-screen view opens automatically (popup duration configurable, 0 disables the popup) and the image is refreshed faster.

  • Still image via controller (default): The controller cyclically fetches a still image from the door station and transfers it to the operating device. Works wherever a connection to the controller exists — including remotely via the app/VPN connection.
  • Direct video (MJPEG): The operating device connects directly to the door station and shows smooth video (approx. 8 frames/s). Requirement: the Doorbird is reachable from the operating device (same network or a correspondingly routed connection). The credentials are taken automatically from the linked function block.

Text Text to display. The text size scales automatically with the control element. Line breaks can be inserted with the special character "\n".

 "Still image via controller" (works over any connection) or "Direct video (MJPEG)" (smooth video, only if the door station is directly reachable), see above.
Interval in s
 Image refresh in seconds (image source "Still image via controller" only).
Interval while ringing in s
 Faster image interval during a ring event (image source "Still image via controller" only).
Timeout in s
 If no image arrives within this time, an error icon is shown (with the direct connection the stream is re-established).
Popup duration in s
 When the doorbell rings, the full-screen view opens automatically and closes after this time. 0 = no automatic popup.
Show info
 The time of the last image is displayed; while ringing, the hint "Doorbell ringing!" appears.
Full screen
 The image fills the entire area (image is cropped), otherwise it is fitted.
