Overview Block Pool



The control element shows and operates a swimming pool. It works with the function block Block Pool.

The link is created with the right mouse button on the control element. The variables are taken over automatically; they do not have to be entered by hand.

Tile: the water temperature is shown in the centre, around it a ring showing how much of the daily runtime the filter pump has already reached. Above the tile the state is shown as text, below it the label.

The ring carries the configured font colour. Blue means the filter pump is running, orange a running backwash or the frost protection, red a fault or low water. On a fault an exclamation mark is shown in the centre, without a linked water temperature a dash.

Window: a click opens the control window. At the top there are Automatic, On and Off for the filter pump, below them Open cover and Close cover (only if a cover is configured in the function block), Backwash and Light. If a fault is pending, Acknowledge appears as well. Below that the state, the runtime of the day against the daily target and the readings of pH, redox, water and collector are shown. A dash means that this sensor does not exist in the installation.

On and Off stay in effect until Automatic is chosen again or the operating mode at the input of the function block changes.

The symbols in the header open the switching times, the presence, the runtime and the settings.



Switching times

A switching time triggers an action: filter pump on or off, backwash, open cover or close cover, lighting on or off and automatic. A click on the value steps through them. The actions for the cover are only offered if a cover is configured in the function block.

A newly created switching time is set to "no action" and does not switch anything until an action has been chosen.

Filter pump on and off act like manual operation in the window: they stay in effect until a switching time with automatic arrives or automatic is chosen again in the window. No switching times are therefore needed for the daily filtering time - the function block works that out itself.

Presence

Under Share of the daily runtime each presence state - present, absent, holiday - carries how much of the filter runtime should apply in that state. 100 % means unchanged, 50 % half the runtime, 0 % none at all. The pool is therefore filtered less while nobody is at home, without having to change the curve.

A click on the house symbol switches the setting for the respective state on and off, a click on the value next to it opens the input.

By default no state has a setting. As long as nothing is switched on, the full runtime from the curve applies in every presence state.

Runtime

The curve says how long the filter pump should run on a given day. Each row carries a water temperature and the number of hours; between two rows the controller interpolates linearly, below the first and above the last row their value applies.

Four support points are preset, from 16 °C with four hours to 28 °C with ten hours. The values can be changed freely; the rows should be in ascending order of temperature.

Settings

Setpoint auxiliary heating
Water temperature the pool is heated to. Heating starts as soon as the water is below it by the hysteresis configured in the function block.
Setpoint pH
Setpoint of the pH dosing. Dosing only starts at a larger deviation than the tolerance configured in the function block.
Setpoint redox
Setpoint of the chlorine dosing in mV.
Maintenance after
Operating hours of the filter pump after which the function block reports maintenance through output FW. The value 0 switches the message off.
The settings are only transferred to the controller with "Save". They are stored there and survive a restart.
