Overview Block Energy Manager

This control element displays the energy flow of a system with photovoltaics, power grid, battery storage and consumers and at the same time controls the energy distribution via the associated function block. It shows the current PV power (production), the grid power (consumption/feed-in), the consumption and the autarky. If the battery indicator is enabled, the state of charge and the charge/discharge state of the storage are shown additionally. Up to five consumers can be displayed with their own labelling.

The control element is available in two different views, Block and Basic Screen. Clicking on the control element shows the dialog with the energy evaluation.

Evaluation

The dialog shows the energy values recorded over time. In the overview the total values Autarky, Production, Consumption, Import, Export, Savings and Yield are displayed. The button in the middle selects the time range:

Settings

The gear icon in the title bar of the dialog is used to set the target values for the energy distribution. The values are transferred to the function block via the Save button. The following parameters are available:

Configuration

This control element is linked to the corresponding logic block, see function block Structured Block Energy Manager. First create the corresponding function block and link the variables, then right-click on the control element and select the function block to link the control element.
