Overview Block Roller shutter/blind

Block function block for the control element Block Roller shutter/blind; the control element must be connected with this function block. See Block Presence and Presence General.

The block controls a roller shutter or blind (up/down, height and slat in percent) and contains a shading automation based on the sun position: using the calculated sun position as well as the brightness and temperature inputs, the shading is activated and moved to the stored positions. In addition, a presence simulation is available.

Inputs

HE
Brightness
Brightness value for the shading automation.
TE
Temperature
Temperature value for the shading automation.
SP
Lock
Lock. When the lock is active, the reaction depends on the parameter „Action on lock“.

Outputs

LZ
Long time
Long time (drive command up/down).
KZ
Short time
Short time (step/stop command, slat adjustment).
PH
Height percent
Target height position in percent.
PL
Slat percent
Target slat position in percent.
SH
Status height percent
Feedback of the height position in percent.
SL
Status slat percent
Feedback of the slat position in percent.
ST
Status
Status information of the block.
SO
Sun height (current)
Currently calculated sun height (for the shading automation).
SW
Sun angle (current)
Currently calculated sun angle (azimuth).

Parameters

Delay slat
Delay of the slat setpoint for blind control elements. First the height is sent and only after this time has elapsed the slat. This is necessary for some KNX actuators so that both positions are reached.
Action on lock
  • No action: when the lock is active, no movement takes place.
  • Move to off position: when the lock is active, the drive moves to the off/inactive position.
