General. With this function block a KNX switch can be used as a code keypad. For this, each rocker is interpreted as a number. The short-time object (short button press) serves as a number starting with 0; with the long-time object (long button press) you can switch between functions, and an individual code can be stored for each function. This means that, for example, with 4 buttons 4 functions with 4 PIN codes can be used, with 6 buttons 6 functions, etc. During commissioning a master PIN code is stored. In the app this code is used to assign a separate PIN code for each function. These must be assigned once during commissioning. In addition, there is the option of generating a one-time code. This code is valid either only once or for a specified time. |

Optional input for an external one-time code. If this input is connected, no one-time code is generated; instead the one from this input is used and output at the output. This can for example be used when several code switches are to use the same one-time code (e.g. entrance and room). |

Addresses for controlling the LEDs on the buttons. On a long button press the respective LED is driven. This way a separate password can be stored for each button. If the wrong code is entered, all LEDs flash for 5 seconds. |

Depending on the LED or function control, the corresponding output is driven on correct entry of the code. This way separate outputs / functions can be driven for each button. |
