Block Scene

This control element provides a scene.

This control element is connected to the corresponding logic block, see function block Structured Block Scene simple. The variables are connected to the function block here, see also Presence general. First create the corresponding function block and connect the variables, then right-click the control element and select the function block to connect the control element.

Clicking the element displays the operation dialog. The scene is controlled via the buttons:

Start: Triggers the scene.
Stop: Ends a running scene. This button is only shown when the parameter Show stop is activated.
Exit: Closes the dialog without any further action.

In the title bar of the dialog, depending on the configuration, the functions Time switch, Settings, Learn and Edit are accessible via the respective icons.

Time switch

With the Time switch function the scene can be triggered time-controlled. To add a new switching time, press the symbol at the bottom left; to delete switching times, click on the symbol at the bottom right.

Using the calendar icon in the switching time list, switching times can be imported from a calendar file (iCal, *.ics) - via a link (including Google Calendar, Apple iCloud, Google Drive and Dropbox), from a file or from the clipboard. One on (value 1) and one off (value 0) switching time are created per event. In the first row the symbols for clock type and presence are shown. As type Week clock, Date and Sunrise/Sunset can be selected. On the right side it is set via the symbols Present, Absent and Holiday when the switching time should be active. Under Execute, once or always can be selected.

Presence

Via this dialog it can be set that the scene is triggered automatically when the Presence status changes.

For each of the three states Present, Absent and Holiday it is set via the respective symbol whether an action should be executed when switching to this state (dark background is active).

Execute: If the respective state is active, the scene is triggered when switching to this state.

Learn

If the parameter Show learning is activated, the Learn symbol is shown in the dialog. It stores the current values of the connected outputs as a scene. Before saving, the confirmation prompt Learn scene? appears.

Edit

If the parameter Show edit is activated (only for Scene simple), the list of outputs can be adjusted via the Edit symbol. Each output is enabled or disabled individually via the check box. Via the Edit symbol of each row the following values are set:

Delay: Time in seconds after which this output is switched when the scene is triggered.
Value: Value that is sent to this output when the scene is triggered. The input depends on the data type of the output (e.g. On/Off, percent or colour).

Configuration

Display
Display	Display Block, Basic Screen or List.
Text	Text to be displayed. The size of the text is scaled automatically with the control element. Line breaks can be inserted with the special character "\n", for example "Line1\nLine2"; a maximum of two lines is possible.
Show learning	Show the Learn button in the dialog to save the scene.
Show stop	Show the Stop button in the dialog to end a running scene.
Show edit	Show the Edit symbol in the dialog to adjust the outputs of the scene (only for Scene simple).
Tips: If the Background parameter is not selected under Transparency settings, only the icon is displayed. This allows the element to be placed more easily over another element, for example. For Scene simple, the comments of the connected variables are displayed in the Edit list. If the comment contains round brackets, e.g. (Name), only the text in the brackets is displayed. Two-line comments can be specified by inserting a "\n", e.g. (Line 1\nLine 2).
