A logic module here, a visualisation server there, a separate app, a router for remote access, plus gateways and a data logger. The result: several programs, several projects, addresses maintained more than once. When something goes wrong, everyone points at someone else.
One project holds the logic, the visualisation and every address. The controller executes it, the app displays it. Nothing has to be maintained twice or kept in sync. If something changes, it is changed once – and is correct everywhere.

Logic and operating pages are created in the same program and access the same addresses. A switch in the app and a block in the logic automatically share the same value. Pages, images and controls are freely designable – no forced templates, no quantity limits.
KNX is built in. On top of that: Modbus, M-Bus, DMX, CAN, MQTT and Matter, plus many devices without an extra gateway – Shelly, wallboxes, inverters, batteries, cameras, door stations, Hue, Sonos and more. You choose the technology the building needs, not what the controller happens to understand.
The app is available for Android, iPhone/iPad and Windows. Remote access runs through the uni-PRO VPN service – no port forwarding on the router, servers located in the EU. The installation stays local: if the internet fails, everything keeps running. Push messages arrive directly in the app and the installer shares access with a single link.
Through the same secure connection the installer works on the system with the Studio – and even programs KNX devices with ETS remotely. The controller includes its own KNX IP gateway. Other devices on site are reached through a tunnel, for example their web interface.
Heating circuits with heating curve, heat generators, hot water, circulation, mixers, solar, individual room control, air conditioners and ventilation – as ready-made blocks, without additional controllers. A single heating-circuit block replaces six to ten individual blocks.
The room controller learns how long each room needs to heat up and starts early enough, so the room is warm at the set time. The PV forecast continuously compares itself with the actual yield, and irrigation learns the consumption of each zone.
PV surplus is distributed by priority: heat pump, wallbox, heating element. The battery is managed according to electricity price and solar forecast. Wallboxes connect directly or via OCPP, dynamic tariffs are built in. The app shows consumption, generation and self-sufficiency at a glance.
Light, shading, scenes, time switches with holidays and solar times, alarm messages, gates and irrigation – as ready-made controls with matching logic. Every element knows Present, Absent and Holiday. Presence simulation is included.
Diagnostics show the traffic of every bus system – KNX, Modbus, MQTT and more – in one place. The telegram monitor can record over days. Statistics store measured values directly in the controller: temperatures, meter readings, power – as charts in the Studio and in the app.
Addresses come straight from ETS. One drag links an element completely – all addresses of a blind at once. The project generator builds rooms, logic, operating pages and navigation from the ETS addresses. And if you like, an AI assistant helps.
If the ready-made blocks are not enough, you write your own sequences as a Lua script – up to querying web services. Node-RED, Home Assistant and your own programs connect through open interfaces. Large systems spread across up to 16 controllers in one project. A backup controller takes over automatically.
On request we build custom controls and function blocks that only your company sees, or a script block for one specific project. uni-PRO also runs on customer hardware – from building automation to machine control. Large partners receive their own branding, up to their own app in the App Store.
